The short version
Every DEADBOLT product is covered for ten years against defects in material and workmanship, for the first owner. If something covered goes wrong, we repair or replace it.

Full warranty terms
DEADBOLT warrants to the first purchaser for use that its merchandise is free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of invoice, provided that such merchandise is listed in DEADBOLT's current price list at the time of the claim and that such defects are not the result of ordinary wear and tear. DEADBOLT's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option, and such repair or replacement shall be the only remedy.
Because leather is a natural product, variations in color may occur. Therefore, DEADBOLT cannot guarantee the matching of color. DEADBOLT is not responsible for damage due to transportation, improper handling, alteration, abuse, negligence, or damage that occurs during storage.
DEADBOLT shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages including, but not limited to, any expenses associated with the removal or installation of any defective merchandise covered by this warranty. DEADBOLT makes no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE EXCLUDED.
Caring for your leather
DEADBOLT bags are made from vegetable-tanned Italian leather, selected for uniform color and durability. No two hides are identical, and color changes over time are normal and part of the leather's character.
First month: keep the bag dry.
Cleaning: wipe gently with a 100% cotton cloth slightly dampened with warm water, then let it air dry away from direct heat and sunlight.
Restoring color: lightly apply vegetable oil evenly with a natural sponge, paying attention to the stitching, then wipe off any excess with a dry cotton cloth.
